Trauma Counselling

Experiencing or hearing about a traumatic event may cause trauma. You may have felt emotionally, psychologically or physically threatened. It could have been a car accident, abuse or neglect, the sudden death of a loved one, a violent criminal act, or an exposure to a natural disaster. It may have happened to you or you may have been a witness to the event or have been affected by the knowledge that it happened to a friend or family member.

In addition to debriefing, we are qualified to offer Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) intervention where appropriate.
